Miyela would be unable to work were it not for the people who share thier knowlwdge, skill, art, talent with is.

We rely on people helping us make this movement possible.  at the heart of our values is the idea that people can.  each day we do our work someone steps up and prooves to us that power and the willingness to make this country work lies here with us.

we can never show enough how grateful we are to all of you.  the best i can do is to take what you share and make sure it gets put to good use in making the kind of world you would like to see.  we can not be objective about our feelings towards these people as their contributions have been personal and real to us.

those we have not officially named here, know that we know who you are and will update this soon, or you can remind us by adding to the post.

  • we would love to thank our first believer who went beyond our expectation and supported us faithfully for years Mrs. Shirley Mabusela.  Ma your contribution has made the work we believe in possible and has allowed us to plant seeds that will bear fruit for some time to come.  a very personal thank you.
  • Mr. Oupa Ngwenya has given us the space to think and grow never turning our endless questions and request for hie time away. way.  for his moral support and cheer leader attitude to us made us believe in the dream that is Miyela.
  • Mam Sibongile Khumalo, thank you for your encouragement and opening the idea of re-languaging to the way we conduct Miyela.
  • Lebogang Nkwane and the photographers at 75 for allowing us access to their work for inclusion in our journal.

what follows is a list of people who have contributed to our beautiful journal. Miyela.
